The term "Differently Abled" is frequently used to refer to those who lack typical physical, mental, or psychological functioning. Other definitions include learning challenges or social adjustment issues that interfere with a person's typical growth and development. A disabled child is one who, due to a weakness, whether congenital or not, in his physical or mental skills, is unable to provide for himself, fully or partially, the necessities of a normal individual or social existence, including labor. Physically challenged people are those who suffer from any of the following conditions: visual, communicative (hearing and/or speech), and locomotor. The notion that those who are challenged shouldn't be classified as "disabled" is gaining more and more traction. Children who are intellectually and physically challenged are frequently made to feel sorry for. We should keep in mind that a child who is physically or mentally challenged has rights as well, and that the youngster needs our empathy more than our sympathy.
